There is a magic in our pets that is beautiful. Yet that magic is often fleeting leaving the viewer with a longing to capture it. Capturing the magic of a particular moment and creating a story that embodies the essence of that instant requires a special talent. Photographer Jessica Trinh has a very special eye for capturing pets in their moments of magic.
Through her photographs, Jessica invites viewers to witness a story about a pet and further develop the story with their imaginations. As a pet owner, Jessica is intuitively aware of the bond pet owners develop with their pet and appreciates the moments of magic that occur as pet simply be themselves. The vivid images she captures on film playfully illustrate the essence of a pet and draws out their unique features.
The charming and playful images Jessica creates has been featured by major magazines such as Costco Connection and Modern Dog. She has also done work with Hallmark. More recently Jessica was enlisted by Purina Pet Food to photograph cats through the #MyGreatCat initiative to explore their special features and quirks. Jessica also offer private photo shoots for pet owners.
Trinh's current project is Project Let it Rain Love in which she is venturing into shelters to tell visual stories about adoptable dogs. The concept of the project is that "every dog in the shelter is in a drought. Not a single drop of love falls on them.... They need someone to shower them with love…" The goal of the project is to enlighten everyone on the story of shelter dogs in effort to give shelter dogs the gift of a forever home.
