Jessica Simpson tries her hand at henna to get lucky in love

For the Price of Beauty, Jessica Simpson will try it all - including getting marked up with Henna tattoos to get luck in love.

The pop singing and fashion designing superstar returned from India this week and came back with a little ink - "intricate Mehndi designs", her rep told the Daily Mail.

"The intricate Mehndi designs are typically Indian, and made with a turmeric paste," Simpson's party told the paper. "They're worn at wedding ceremonies and are supposed to bring good luck to eligible single women in India. It's a big style statement too. The really intricate designs take hours to apply by hand using just a brush. The artists are very skilled."

But no alter for Simpson. Since being dumped by Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson has been linked to stars like John Mayer and Law Abiding Citizen's Gerard Butler, but quickly dismissed on all accounts.

While in India filming the show for VH1, Simpson and her BFF Ken Paves hung out with Bollywood beauty Neha Dhupia and visited a party at the capital's Vie Lounge, reports Us Magazine. India is one of many stops the 29-year-old singer has made for her show - Set to air in 2010.

Recently visiting Uganda, Simpson sent pictures to her Twitter account showing a frail and scared Simpson amid "skimpy" sleeping conditions. While India may have provided better corridors, the star's health was only mildly jeoprodized with a busy schedule and no time for a mani-pedi stop.

"Love going thru the airport and seeing a pic of toes that could smile when ours stink :)," Simpson tweeted on her way back home. "No time for a pedicure!!"
