Jessica Simpson is planning to expand her maternity line. The Providence Journal broke the news on Jan. 15. The fashion mogul is planning to add more clothing and accessories to her already successful line.
Jessica is partnering up with Destination Maternity. The line will feature lots of lacy and flowy blouses and dresses. Prices will range between $19 and $69.
The new maternity collection won't debut until spring 2013. It's expected to hit Macy's, Destination Maternity and Motherhood Maternity. The former sing is in talks with other major retailers at the moment.
Jessica released a statement about her new collection. She told the press:
“I am so [pleased] this collection is growing and I am able to give even more women access to comfortable, fashionable and affordable maternity wear. We have designed a collection that is everyday chic, from bright jersey knit dresses to dressed-up denim. I’m looking forward to wearing my favorite pieces during this pregnancy.”
Jessica launched her maternity collection back in fall 2012. She partnered up with the Camuto Group and Destination Maternity. Now, she's working solely with Destination Maternity.
Jessica Simpson is not only expecting a second maternity collection. She's also expecting a second child. The singer is expected to have another spring baby.
