It’s no secret that for years Ashlee Simpson felt like the “ugly duckling” next to famous sister Jessica. According to Saturday’s release of Star magazine for Jan. 14 Jessica is fed up with her “seductive sister.” These days Ashlee is feeling better about herself thanks to plastic surgery, a slim-down, and a divorce. She’s happier than she’s been in a while and isn’t afraid to show it.
Johnson blames Jessica for being gone all the time. Recently Jessica caught Eric checking out Ashlee in her itty-bitty bikinis on their recent Hawaii family vacation. Jessica wore a huge cover-up. She’s pregnant and self-conscious again and “hated being around her stick-thin sister.”
Sources state that “Ashlee has always come second to Jessica. For once she’s the one getting tons of attention and was making the most of it.”
With Jessica’s fiancé and father to daughter, Maxwell.
Eric replies, pushing blame. Johnsons says, “he is the one always taking care of the baby” because Jessica is gone so much. “If he and Ashlee were playing with their kids together, it’s not like he can avoid looking at her! If Jessica took care of Maxwell, he wouldn’t have to spend so much time around Ashlee.”
Of course, he’s not complaining.
