Jessica Simpson showed off her baby bump via twitter on Sunday, wearing a bikini. The caption read: ‘Bumpin’ and proud!’

The pop-star snapped the photo while vacationing in Hawaii with 7-month-old daughter Maxwell Drew and fiancé football star, Eric Johnson. Simpson informed the world that she was expecting her second child on twitter Christmas Day when she posted a photograph Maxwell Drew sitting in sand with the words ‘Big Sis’ drawn in front of her.
The announcement came on the heels of a media firestorm surrounding the ‘Fashion Star’ mentor’s suspected pregnancy after the star was seen in Los Angeles during November wearing looser fitting tops and hiding her tummy behind shopping bags.
Simpson rocked a form fitting black bridesmaid dress with what appeared to be a rounded belly when she attended her best friend and former assistant CaCee Cobb’s wedding to ‘Scrubs’ actor Donald Faison in December.
What happens with Weight Watchers?
Jessica Simpson signed a $3 million contract with Weight Watchers- last year while she was still pregnant with her daughter- to lose the post pregnancy weight with the program and become the celebrity spokeswoman for the company. The ‘Fashion Star’ mentor lost a reported 60 pounds in just seven months.
A source told TMZ that the executives at weight watchers were upset with Simpson after she failed to lose enough weight for the first commercial. Many suspected that a second pregnancy could put her contract in jeopardy.
A Weight Watchers representative recently told ABC News ‘There have been no changes to our business agreement with Jessica’ and ‘she will not be following the program during the pregnancy’. ‘After she gives birth, Jessica and her doctor will decide when she may resume following the Weight Watchers program’.

Simpson may be sporting pieces from her maternity collection soon. ‘You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off’, the star told WWD when she launched the line earlier this year.
