Jessica Simpson's first baby, a girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson, was born just last May 1, 2012, and she admitted yesterday on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' to host, Jay Leno, that she's already pregnant again! She even went as far as blaming her fiance, saying that 'he keeps knocking me up.'
Though Jessica Simpson, is a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, people couldn't help noticing that she continued to not lose the baby weight from last year's pregnancy & in fact looked bigger than ever. At least now, there's a justified reason why she's been gaining weight. Thank goodness, as she is being paid a reported $4 million for that endorsement deal.
Over the holidays, Simpson confirmed rumors of her pregnancy with her fans on Twitter by sharing her baby bump, as she tweeted 'Bumpin and Proud.' Last night, she confirmed publicly to a television audience that she was indeed with child. No word yet on when she and her fiance, Eric Johnson, of 2 years, will get married.
Also on the horizon for Jessica Simpson this year, besides her second child, is the second season of her fashion design competition reality series, 'Fashion Star,' which is set to Premiere on NBC, March 2, 2013 at 8 pm. This season, host, Elle Macperson, will be replaced by new host, Louise Roe. Also, joining Jessica Simpson on the judging panel will once again be Nicole Richie & designer John Varvatos who are back on board. This season, 13 new contestants will compete for a multimillion-dollar grand prize to launch a line at Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Express. (H&M were only on Season One.) Elle Macpherson will still have her presence & influence on 'Fashion Star,' as she is one of the show's executive producers.
Jessica Simpson is not shying from the cameras during her pregnancy. In addition to doing the talk show circuit, she can now be seen on Weight Watchers commercials along with Jennifer Hudson, where she is bumpin loud and proud, proclaiming 'Expect Amazing.'
