Jessica Simpson's galpals say Tony Romo hit on them

The Jessica Simpson-Tony Romo relationship had many ups and downs before ending with the Cowboys's starting QB leaving the blonde singer-actress-reality TV star in the parking lot of the International House of Pancakes last month.

It was a star-crossed romance that had Cowboys fans wondering if Tony was somehow distracted by his celebrity girlfriend as the team failed to make the playoffs in 2008.

The relationship made for plenty of tabloid headlines, and even made T.O. cry.

But, according to the National Enquirer's Mike Walker, Tony was a bit of a dog, and he's not talking about his play down the stretch.

At a recent girls' night out, several of Simpson's galpals revealed to her that Tony had "hit on not one…not two…but three of them while he and Jess were still together!"

In an attempt to "comfort" the heartbroken Jessica, one "friend" told her, "We were at a party when you were out of town and I ran into Tony. We were friendly, just talking. But the more he drank, the more friendly he got. Finally, he said, 'You know, you and I should get together - Jessica doesn't need to find out!'"

Another bosom buddy told her that the man some call "Mr. October" would get "all grabby and kissy-face," but that she'd rejected his advances.

After rubbing Simpson's face in it, the "friend" attempted something resembling compassion, saying, "This is tearing Jessica apart. Every guy she's been with lately, like John Mayer and Tony, have had womanizing issues. She's picking 'em worse, not better."
