Jessica Simpson is pregnant with a baby boy according to a new report. The singer and her fiance, Eric Johnson, are reportedly set to welcome a son later this year. On Jan. 20, Hollywood Life reported that Jess and Eric are thrilled to be having a boy.
"It’s Jessica’s dream come true, she prayed she was having a boy. She found out this week after a check-up at the doctor, who asked her if she wanted to know the sex of the baby. Jessica immediately said yes and when the doctor told her it was a boy she screamed with joy. She was so happy that Maxwell is getting a little brother because that’s something she always wanted when she was growing up," said an insider.
Jessica Simpson's baby boy is due some time in the spring. Jess and Eric put off their wedding because of this pregnancy. Jessica has joked that she and Eric can't get married because he keeps "knocking her up." The couple does have plans to tie the knot, but Jessica wants to do it when she doesn't have a baby bump.
As Hollywood Life points out, it is going to be interesting to see what Jessica and Eric decide to name their son. Jess' favorite boy's name went to her daughter, so now she's going to have to come up with something else. Many people are expecting something a little wonky.
