Jessica Simpson announced she was pregnant a couple of weeks ago and rumors that she is expecting twins have been swirling for just as long. Since her belly is so big and she just announced the exciting news, people think that there must be two babies in there. However, Jess confirmed herself that she isn't having twins.
"I'm a loudmouth. There's no way [I will find out the baby's gender] ... I eventually want both [a boy and a girl] so I'll be happy with either one, but it's definitely not twins," she told Ryan Seacrest.
Jessica Simpson looks about six or seven months pregnant already, which is very possible. The singer tried to keep her baby news a secret—some say that she was trying to score a big payday for the announcement—and she very well may be further along than people think.
It seems that the media wanted to create more stories surrounding the pop singer, so twins was a good way to go. She's also been accused of canceling her wedding last minute and having second thoughts about a prenuptial agreement. So far, the only confirmed news is that she and fiancé, Eric Johnson, are expecting one baby in 2012.
"Pregnancy is meant for me. I could be pregnant forever. I love it. I love the connection that I have with my body. I want a lot of kids," said Jess.
