During Jessica Simpson’s March 6 appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Simpson mistakenly revealed what gender her unborn baby is. A report from U.S. Weekly confirms the slip.
While talking with Kimmel, Jessica stated, “I never knew that a wiener could actually make me so nauseous.” Jessica immediately realized that she had just revealed the gender, as she covered her mouth with her hand and laughed. Simpson then clarified by stating, “Well, I guess I just told the whole world that I’m having a boy.”
Simpson’s first child is less than a year old. The singer, actress, and designer’s first child, daughter Maxwell, was born on May 1, 2012. Jessica announced her second pregnancy in December 2012, though she hadn’t revealed the baby’s gender to the public until her appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.
This may be the second time this week that the gender of a baby-to-be has been revealed. Earlier this week, Kate Middleton slipped and possibly revealed the gender of her baby when someone handed her a teddy bear and Middleton told them, "Thank you, I'll take that for my d–.” Many believe that the Duchess was going to finish her sentence with “daughter.” Rumors also indicate that she may have hinted at the possible name “Diana,” though it’s all speculation at this point.
