Jessica Simpson logs 12 hours a day to launch 'approachable' jeans brand

For ladies looking to steal a deal on celebrity inspired lines, they can thank Jessica Simpson for working long hours to launch a line that brand partner Jones New York says is "approachable". The jeans line to launch in department stores like Macy's, Belk and Dillard's start at just $49 a pair.

"The jeggings are amazing and the skinny jeans fit to perfection,” the 29-year-old Texas native said in a StyleList report.

"We have great tops, super soft T's and cute boyfriend blazers and jackets that complete the look."

Simpson gives kudos to her brand partner Jones New York. CEO Jack Gross said he was impressed with Simpson's strong work ethic and perspective in design.

"She has a very strong point of view and [was] here working long hours on this," Gross said, according to Women's Wear Daily. "Sometimes up to 12 hours or so," he said while explaining he was pleasantly surprised at Simpson's co-op and appreciated her ability to design fashion for everyday women.

"What I like about Jessica is that she comes across as approachable and not too edgy, which allows for the collection to translate to a broader customer base." 

The line, which will also be featured to Simpson's already expansive Jessica Simpson Collection, will debut this summer in 1,000 select department stores and online at JessicaSimpsonCollection.com.

Also set to debut soon is Jessica Simpson's new documentary style TV show on VH1. The Price of Beauty, which features Simpson traveling the world to measure different view points on beauty, will air later this year.
