Celebrity singer and actress Jessica Simpson has been mocked for weight gain and weight loss and has finally said her piece.

In her interview with Glamour magazine, the ex of Dallas Cowboys football wrangler, Tony Romo, says she disagrees with western obsession over female shape and states her belief in real people and real beauty.

"No matter how much money you spend to make yourself beautiful - With all the products, the diets, the plastic surgery - in the end women need to fall in love with themselves and realize they're beautifully and wonderfully made," Simpson told the mag.

Glamour magazine recently made headlines when they featured 180-pound model Lizzi Miller in between the pages of their September 2009 issue. Lizzi, featured in the same issue as Jessica Simpson's interview, wasn't a celebrity or model - She was a real person and for Glamour magazine, that was just the point.

Debunking journalistic debachles surrounding false images portrayed in other fitness and glamour industry magazines, such as Self Magazine, Glamour set out in September to set the rythym of beauty to a different beat.

Enter celebrity beauty (at any weight) Jessica Simpson. The Texas-born star added, "All around the world women are going to extreme lengths to feel beautiful, but natural beauty should not be overlooked."

Her words convert to "Mission: Possible" when Jessica Simpson ventures out for her new television show and series, The Price of Beauty. In a globally, televised journey around the world, Simpson will encounter practices both painful and priceless in an effort to explore what women really want from beauty.

The Price of Beauty has already begun filming. Executive Producers include Jessica and Joe Simpson as well as Chris Coelen, Claire O’Donohoe and Greg Goldman for RDF USA (Wife Swap, Secret Millionaire). The show will be produced by Jeff Olde, Jill Holmes, Alex Demyanenko and Sean Boyle for VH1 to air in 2010.
