Jessica Simpson has found herself in the Holly-do-good category as of late with her efforts to help feed the hungry and sell shoes for breast cancer.

Last night, the star stepped out again with her  goody two-shoes on for Operation Smile.

The singer accepted charity honors last night for her work as an ambassador at the Beverly Hills Hilton last night in CA.

The organization happily handed over the Operation Smile Founders Circle Award for the Simpon's work with the group. 

Hairstylist and BFF Ken Paves and her parents Joe and Tina were also in attendance.

Operation Smile is a foundation that works to bring back the smiles of children who have been affecting by facial deformities like cleft lips and cleft palates.

Simpson and her father were team members on a medical mission to Africa in 2005 to support the efforts of the group and Operation Smile was happy to say 'thank you' by honoring the family last night.

Jess, who appeared to be all smiles and "put together" by onlookers, made the appearance after the loss of her pooch, Daisy, a couple of weeks ago. While friends expressed their concerns for the star's mental health status, J.Simp carried her head high and looked happy posing for the pappo through dazzling brown eyes.

The star, who has recently been tweeting philosophical quotes from guru masters.

Last week, the slimmed-down blondie wrote on her Twitter page, "In the search for your destiny, you will often find yourself obliged to change direction. - Paulo Coelho" and kept up with the uplifting phrase expressions this week when she tweeted of love.

She wrote, "I have found the paradox that if you love until it hurts there can be no more hurt only more love- Mother Teresa."

Jessica is next expected to be seen again doing good as she models the shoes of her new collection and other designers who have pitched in their kicks to raise money for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
