Fans eagerly await the next season of "American Horror Story." Even details of the highly anticipated series are scarce. On March 24, Zap 2 It reported on the latest news surrounding "American Horror Story" season 4 and here is the scoop.

After much speculation as to the setting of the next season, "AHS" fans will be happy to know that the season is called "American Horror Story: Freak Show." The plot will involve Jessica Lange playing a Marlene Deitrich type character in the 1950's and she will have a German accent.

Season 4 will take place in a carnival setting. Angela Basset, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulsen and Frances Conroy have signed on in addition to Lange. It has been revelead by series creator Ryan Murphy that these actors will all play performers that Lange's character rescued.

Season 3 titled "American Horror Story: Coven" was set in New Orleans. This latest edition of the hit FX drama "American Horror Story: Freak Show" is set in Jupiter, Fla. "Freak Show" is slated to return in October 2014 for 13 epsides.
