Jessica Janai Pratt missing during Mardi Gras trip

Des Moines Police Department released an alert on Feb. 12, 2013 for missing woman Jessica Janai Pratt. The alert, which was shared on an official Facebook page for the woman, states that she was last seen on Feb. 6th. Jessica Pratt is described as being an adult entertainer who works in gentleman's clubs. She is believed to had been on the way to New Orleans to "work" during Mardi Gras. However, it's not necessarily known yet as to whether or not she even made it to her destination.

For some reason the mainstream media has not yet picked this story up with any interest and that's a shame. However, I covered it on Gather News and am hoping that enough people will see these alerts and share the flyers so she can be found. It's not known whether or not she's voluntarily missing or if she's in danger. Some light research done on Jessica Janai Pratt returns results on DUI type arrests and mug shots, but nothing serious aside from that.

Could this missing woman be in danger or is she somewhere working while on her travel circuit type mission? Statistically, the first two days of a disappearance are the most vital and her disappearance is verging on a week, as stated in the above-cited article, it's hard to speculate what might be going on with her missing this long. Could she be in danger? Has someone seen her?
