Jessica Dutro: Mom accused of killing 4-year-old son fearing he was gay

Jessica Dutro and her boyfriend were charged in the murder of Dutro's 4-year-old son back in 2012. On March 27, MSN News reported that the prosecution now claims that Dutro murdered her son because she was afraid that he was gay.

Dutro reportedly told her boyfriend, Brian Canady, that he would have to "work on" her son, Zachary, because he "walked and talked like he was gay." Apparently this really bothered Dutro and she wanted nothing to do with the child because of this -- and so, she and Canady killed him. Earlier this month, Canady pleaded guilty to manslaughter and assault charges.

Jessica Dutro is facing murder, murder by abuse, and second-degree assault charges. Apparently Dutro has two other children whom she abused but Zachary was a target more often than not. Now it's believed that Dutro wanted to kill her son because she was afraid that he was gay -- and many hope that she spends the rest of her life behind bars because of her decision.

Zachary died of blunt-force trauma to his abdomen and delayed medical response. He was placed on life support and was removed days later. The new possible motive in the child's murder came by way of a Facebook message that Dutro sent Canady and was in regard to the "possibility" that Zachary was gay. The court decided the post was admissible.

Jessica Dutro will hopefully receive the steepest punishment for her crimes. Check out the video above for more.
