Jessica Chastain might be Jane in 'Tarzan'

There has been a lot of movement lately on the new “Tarzan” adaptation from director David Yates (four “Harry Potter” movies).

The New York Post is reporting today that Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”) is the number one choice for the role of Jane.

Based on her looks and talents I think this is an incredible casting choice, but Chastain, of course, has been receiving a lot of offers lately and has yet to sign on the dotted line.

The Edgar Rice Burroughs adaptation is also eyeing Samuel L. Jackson (“Django Unchained”) for a supporting role as an ex-mercenary who helps Tarzan save the Congo from a warlord, and has Alexander Skarsgard (“Straw Dogs”), Charlie Hunnam (“The Ledge”) and Henry Cavill (“Man of Steel”) in the running for the titular role (I would prefer Skarsgard).

Only time will tell if the dream team of cast members can bring this movie to life, but all I know for certain is if a certain Phil Collins song isn't in it I will be upset.
