Jessica Alba's major health scare freak out and emergency room visit

Actress Jessica Alba, talked with "Jimmy Kimmel Live.'" The interview on Kimmel's live program, aired on Feb. 12, 2013. Alba talked about a major heath scare ordeal.

Alba appears very fit in her photo. She says she practices a very healthy lifestyle and diet. Her health scare moment came when Alba had symptoms that she associated with having a stroke.

During Alba's interview with Kimmel, the actress talks about her middle of the night episode.

E! Online reports "I thought I was having a stroke," Alba told Kimmel. "It was 2:30 in the morning and I woke up and my hand started to go numb, and then my whole arm went numb and I couldn't move it. And then I got a cold sensation from the back of my neck up to the front. And then I was like, I think, I can't move my face."

Alba said she took to her computer and used the search engine Google, to check her symptoms. Alba said "she was convinced it was a stroke."

Alba went as far as contacting a doctor in her freak out state. Her doctor told her "You're fine." The actress decided to go to the emergency room and have a CAT scan for safe measures. The arm pains, Alba experienced were related to carpal tunnel syndrome, as far as the ER could tell.

Alba told Kimmel and the studio audience, "They all said, 'You had all the signs of a stroke if you were much older,'" she says, before being told she simply had carpal tunnel."
