Jessica Alba: I'll never be as thin as I was before I had a baby & that's okay

Jessica Alba, who's hailed for her exotic beauty and ripped bikini body, says she'll never be as skinny as she was before she had daughter Honor in 2008, and she's fine with that.

“I can’t ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor," Alba says in the August 2011 issue of Allure. "My body’s just different.

"The jeans just sort of zip up differently, and things hang differently. It’s a miracle what happens, but you definitely are different afterwards. Unless you’re Gisele [Bundchen].”

Pregnancy Made Me Feel More Sexual

Jessica, 30, who's pregnant with her second child (with husband Cash Warren), says motherhood has made her more appreciative of her sexuality.

"I was quite shy with it," Alba recalls. "It wasn't something I embraced until I had my daughter. I saw how incredible and amazing it is to be a woman and to be able to create a life.

"There's a reason why certain areas of the body are desirable—because it all leads to reproduction. There's a science behind it all. It's not just to sell whatever you're selling on a billboard or a magazine or a movie."

'I'm Getting Better With Age'

Still, Jessica refuses to capitalize on her athletic good looks by posing naked or filming nude scenes in movies.

"I'm wearing as much as a bathing suit [in my nude scenes]," she says. "It's not like I'm naked. I'm not terribly comfortable with being in a bikini, but covering up my genitals is different than not covering up my genitals, at the end of the day. I do see a difference in that, to put it really frankly."

Alba, who typically works out at least 4 days a week combining cardio exercise, yoga and strength-training, says she's feeling more confident as she's getting older.

"You get to be more complicated and complex and dynamic the older you are," she says.

"According to some people, I peaked in my early 20s. I was like, 'Oh, really? I feel like I'm getting better.' "
