Jessica Simpson predicts that wedding bells will be ringing for her in the future. For that reason, she's extra-motivated about losing weight for that sure-to-be glamorous event, reported ABC News on Jan. 2.
“Knowing that I have the wedding coming up is an incentive to stay on Weight Watchers, count my points and stay in the gym,” Jessica admitted.
“I mean, when you see my dress, you’ll know!” she added.
Since her engagement former NFL player Eric Johnson in 2010, Jessica has had a daughter, Maxwell, 20 months, and a son Ace, 6 months.
To restore her pre-baby body, Jessica chose Weight Watchers’ two-week Simple Start program. Designed to provide a jump-start, she said the initial phase helped her "completely refocus and jump right back on track to weight loss and feeling amazing about myself.”
In addition to shedding for the wedding, Jessica wants to look good in casual attire.
“I’m just trying to feel good in a pair of jeans and T-shirt,” she said. “I can’t wait to be able to feel just comfortable in my skin and know that I’m back to the person I’ve been before."
Part of returning to that Daisy-Dukes body involves exercise. Jessica has become a walking wizard, continuing the habit that she developed after her first pregnancy of using a pedometer to track her steps.
"Just bought all the girls in my @weightwatchers group pedometers to track their steps," Jessica tweeted at one point. "10,000 steps a day = 5 miles! Let's step it up!"
