"The band and I have decided to part ways." Jesse writes. "There are no hard feelings and no hate behind it. It's time for me to focus on family and my next musical venture. The time spent with them has been a hell of a ride and on I'll never forget. I love and cherish them all as brothers and hope for the very best as they continue on. Thank you for your support."
On the heels of their latest release Feel, the band got on the road and didn't stop.
Immediately following the Warped Tour they headed off to Germany for a small European tour, followed by dates in the UK, and Ireland, and finally a U.S. leg, kicking off at The Wiltern in Los Angeles tomorrow and arriving in the NJ area on Nov. 1 and 2 at the Best Buy Theater, and the Starland Ballroom on Nov. 5.
Afterwards, we don't know for sure, but you can bet that they're not slowing down...
...or are they?
Last year Kellin Quinn the 26-year-old lead singer of the group gave birth to his first child, and this past spring married his longtime girlfriend. So it seems that Lawson wasn't the only one who's got things going on back on the homestead, and with the amount of momentum that the band has garnered this year, it might seem appealing to lay down the guns and take a break.
No news of future plans for the group have been thus far announced, so anything regarding a future indefinite hiatus, is purely speculation.
Jesse, from all of us in the NJ scene, we wish you well in everything you're doing, and hope that you find clarity in your new life with your family. As for Sleeping With Sirens, we'll see you soon, boys.
