Will the groundhog see its shadow next weekend? Even the possibility of an early spring won't entice music lovers to leave their houses on Sunday, February 3 - a.k.a. Superbowl Sunday. While there may not be many shows on Sunday, you still have the rest of the week ahead to hear some great music:
Monday, January 28 – Casey Harris at Puckett’s Nashville, 7p.m. – no cover, tips appreciated
Tuesday, January 29 – The Likely Culprits at The Station Inn, 8p.m. – $12 cover
Wednesday, January 30 – Jesse Keith Whitley and Ashlee Hewitt at 12th & Porter, 6p.m. – $5 cover
Thursday, January 31 – In the Round with Larry Cordle, Paul King, Jerry Salley, and Jenee Fleenor at The Bluebird Café, 6p.m. – no cover, but there is a $7 food or drink minimum per person.
Friday, February 1 – Leagues with Nikki Lane at Mercy Lounge, 9p.m. – $12 in advance or $15 day of show
Saturday, February 2 – Writer’s Round at Commodore Grille, 7p.m. Featuring Mindy McQ and Yesisley Singer.
