Jesse James on 'Nightline' -- full interview discusses childhood abuse (video)

We already knew that Jesse James would tackle a number of difficult subjects in his interview on "Nightline" -- from his failed marriage to Sandra Bullock to allegations he is a racist thanks to a infamous photo of him giving a Nazi salute.

However, who knew we would be looking at a situation where James would be talking about childhood abuse? The former reality TV star claims that his past was the primary reason he went to rehab, and that much of his career -- from "Monster Garage" to "Jesse James is a Dead Man" -- is a "smokescreen" to cover up was a childhood filled with violence.

When asked if he was a sex addict, during the interview, Jesse stated that he didn't believe so -- rather, he just felt he was out to "sabotage" his marriage. He also said not to "believe everything you read" when it comes to the nature of his affairs. He admitted to being unfaithful, but did not go into any details about Michelle "Bombshell" McGee or anyone else.

What did you think of this interview? Check out a small piece of it below courtesy of TMZ and feel free to share your thoughts. (To view photos of Jesse and Sandra Bullock together during happier times, click here.)

I am still a fan of Jeese James, He IS HUMAN! He made a horrible mistake but it does not give the world a reason to hate him. And I AM A HUGE FAN of Sandra B. But I am still gonna support Jeese James. And of course Sandra B.
