Jeryl Brazil is no stranger to trouble. He has been issued three arrest warrants since September of this year according to the latest news report on December 8, 2013.
The latest warrant for Brazil's arrest was issued on Thursday (Dec. 7) for a burglary that happened on Nov. 23rd in an apartment north of the LSU campus. Brazil is accused of entering an apartment at The Venue at Northgate and taking $47 from a wallet.
Brazil had not been arrested as of Thursday evening, but LSU had issued a statement saying that Brazil was no longer a member of the football team.
Brazil, 19, is from Independence, La. and played at the running back position for the Tigers. His whereabouts are currently unknown and the public is encouraged to contact the Baton Rouge Police Department or LSU Campus Police with information if they know where Brazil is currently hiding out at.
Brazil, who was a four star recruit himself was involved with chatting with current prospects, giving his perspective on the situation and answering their questions about the program. Brazil had much success talking to recruits during the "quiet" period when coaches were allowed limited access.
Brazil only played in one game for the Tigers this year, the UAB game. Unfortunately, it is also his last.
