Good Morning my Gatsby Groupies! It's Monday morning and that means it Jerseylicious recap time. It also means popping some Aleve due to Monday morning hangover but that's a whole different story....On to the Gatsby, cause I know your having some Jersey withdrawls.
Every show has their epic couple. Friends had Ross and Rachel, Gossip Girl had Blair and Chuck,Teen Mom had Amber and her bed, and the Gatsby has Frankie and Gigi. Ah, yes the epic love story of Frankie and Gigi is nothing short of a Jersey fairytale. There is love, breaking up, flowers, and Italian festivals. What more could we ask for? So lets jump on in.....
So Frankie is on a mission from God, well actually more like a mission from his mom Carla but more on that in a bit. He and Gigi have been on a 'break' for too long as far as he is concerned and he wants her back. But how does one get the love of their life back...Enter Carla.
Carla gives Frankie lessons in stalking 101. He needs to call her, show up at her job, and above all be persistent. Frankie wants a little more than a restraining order so Carla tells him to send her flowers, write a letter, and the biggie....Pick her up in a limo. Carla doesn't think Gigi can resist the limo but Frankie thinks she may walk right away. Frankie just wants Gigi to know he loves her. Carla gives Frankie a kiss and sends him to go get his girl.
So Frankie goes to work. He shows up at the Gatsby and pays for a hair cut, even though he doesn't need one, so he and Gigi can go outside and talk. Gigi ain't havin' it. She is like bish please, actions speak louder than words. Frankie starts mumbling and it ends with I gutta get outta her. I'll tawlk to you.
The whole salon except Gayle thinks Gigi and Frankie should get back together. This, according to Tracey is due to Gayle's black heart and her need for a drink. Oh Gayle, girl I am hearing you. Refill time.
Frankie takes this as a challenge and starts to work it, he writes G +F in flowers on her car, he rents a billboard with their picture and a message that reads Gigi remember when, I love you, I love us. Meet me at St.Annes Sunday @ 3. St. Anne's is an Italian festival that Gigi and Frankie go to every year, just incase you were wondering.
Frankie meets with his 14 year old brother, Mikey Marbles at the boxing gym....What you never put on the gloves and had a heart to heart with a 14 year old about love? Welcome to Jersey Beyotch. Frankie gets all coulda, woulda,shoulda and doesn't want any regrets.
So it all ends with, spoiler alert.....Gigi and Frankie getting back together. Surprise! I know, I know, we never saw it coming either. Those two crazy kids had me worried for a while there.
Back at the Gatsby there is all types of brainstorming going on. What can they do to bring different types of clients into the shop? It all ends with Anthony deciding there will be a guys night. I myself was voting for the drag queen night just for shizz and giggles. But noooo, Anthony wants guys night and that what we will get.
Guy's night it seems will consist of cigars, beer, pizza, poker and a haircut. He has the girls wearing jersey's so that nobody thinks that guys night comes with a side of hooker. Everyone is having a good time, Alexa is trying to find a victim to mate with, Tracey is being stalked, and the customers are drinking and smoking. Typical hair salon stuff.
Suddenly, the doors to hell open and with an "Oh frig"in walks Gayle, and girlfriend is not happy. Our friend Anthony forgot to mention to Gayle that he would be having a guys night, and we all know that Gayle hates men. This is why she continues to marry them. Just to punish them. Gayle throws everyone out and Anthony is in TROUBLE.
The next day Anthony goes to Gayle and apologizes. She forgives him and everyone is happy, well everyone but Tracey because can't be happy as long as Olivia is alive. Oh well, too bad, so sad. Buh Bye.
