Ok peeps, who's in need of a cut and color Jersey style? Well then let's hit the Gatsby and see what our diva's are up to shall we...
We are heading on down to Texas y'all to do a Glam Fairy Wedding with Alexa, Olivia, Gigi, and Tracey. The ladies getting on the plane pretty much sets the tone as to how this episode is going to go down. Too much luggage, too much animal print, and Alexa being terrified of any noise the plane made. Hey Alexa, a glass of wine and one benadryl will end all of the nervousness. It will also end consciousness, but hey these are choices that have to be made.
So we get to Texas and I have to admit, I was flashing back to the movie 'My Cousin Vinny'. The girls stand out like....Well like Jersey girls in Texas. For real even their luggage made a statement. The full on stares from people prompt Tracey to explain that they are just jealous. Uh, right that's it.
So the girls get to their hotel and it's the usual split off, Alexa and Olivia in one room, Tracey and Gigi in the other. Olivia is all about blending so she buys a cowboy hat,which buy the way I wish she had worn during her private interviews because girlfriend looked like she was sporting a birds nest on her head. As they head out the door Alexa makes the defining statement of the episode....Yeah, you blend.
At dinner, Alexa is asking the girls some questions about Glam Fairy weddings. Tracey is the only one to answer Alexa's questions, because as she put it It's not hard if you pay attention. Olivia and Gigi are like yeah whateva and this is not the reaction that Alexa wanted. Olivia thinks that Tracey is sucking up and Alexa thinks that Tracey is being responsible.
The day of the wedding comes and the it's time to Glamify these Texas chick, Jersey style. Alexa gets her chart up on the wall giving everyone a time schedule so that it will all run smoothly. Tracey and Gigi are whipping out hair-dos while Alexa and Olivia start in on the make-up.
Alexa starts looking around and is not so happy with Olivia's speed. She keeps telling Olivia she needs to move faster and Olivia is not havin' it. Olivia tells Alexa that she is not going to half azz the make-up and that she will be done on time. Alexa gives her look number 3 and she is ready to cutta bish. Olivia is still not caring and is all bish please, I'm not scared of you. So Tracey jumps in and starts doing make up. This does not go over well with Olivia who asks if Alexa has ever noticed Tracey's bronzer mustache. Yes, I'm pretty sure we all have.
The wedding takes place with everyone looking jerseylicious, and Gigi starts to get emotional. She is wondering what is going to happen with her and Frankie and if they will ever get married.
As the girls are getting ready to leave a Texas socialite stops Alexa and asks her is she would be willing to stay an extra day and do a glam seminar to teach a group of woman how to be more glam. Alexa is more than willing but needs to talk to Gayle because this means missing a day of work at the Gatsby and this seems to make Alexa a bit nervous. Me, well I would have been more nervous about the 'socialite' looking Twillightish, if you get my drift. Girlfriend was rocking the pale skin, pale hair, red lips look.
Meanwhile back at the Gatsby, it's jamming. Everyone is booked and there are walk in galore. Gayle decides to call Anthony at his salon to see if he can come and fill in. Really? So you want someone to leave the salon that they OWN, and fill in at your salon. Okays.
Anthony's salon is busy too, so he can't really see how this would benefit him. This makes sense, you don't turn your own customers away so that you can help out at another salon. Business 101, make sure your own company is running smoothly before helping out a company that doesn't belong to you.
Back to Texas...The girls decide to go out, and yes once again Olivia is doing her best to blend. At the restaurant Alexa tells the girls about the offer from the socialite. Olivia and Gigi are like hell no. They peace out on that subject before the words are even out of Alexa's mouth. Tracey on the other hand is all about the benjamins and is willing to deal with Gayle in order to make bank.
Alexa gives Gayle a call and as expected Gayle is less than thrilled. She tells Alexa that the last minute shiz has to end. Alexa asks Gayle if she can keep just Tracey and she will send Olivia and Gigi home. Gayle says fine but you know she is not a happy camper when she starts talking about ending their arrangement.
Olivia and Gigi catch a plane home while Alexa and Tracey start the Glam Fairy seminar. Tracey is up first and begins to teach the women how to Jerzify their hair. I know this sound crazy but Tracey was actually human during the seminar. She interacted with people instead of trying to drain the life out of them. Alexa taught them how to do a smokey eye and used Vampira as a model. Seriously, I was waiting to see if there was a reflection in the mirror when she looked in it.
When Alexa gets back to the Gatsby, Gayle is waiting for her. Gayle is no longer happy about the arrangement that she has with Alexa. She feels that Alexa is promoting her own business and putting Gayle's business on the back burner. Ok for real Gayle, please read above in regards to Business 101.
Alexa hands Gayle a check for $2500.00 as her cut from the seminar. Gayle tells her it's not about the money but takes the check and doesn't say another word. To me this makes it seem that it is all about the money, but hey what do I know. I know nothing.
