'Jersey Shore' star Snooki meets TLC's 'Cake Boss'

"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi may have a new friend in "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro. According to a new story by People Magazine, the reality TV star recently trekked up to Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop in New Jersey (the same featured on the TLC show) in order to discuss getting a cake made for her mother on Mother's Day. Apparently she decided on a vanilla cake with French cream and strawberries (tasty).

Snooki will definitely have quite a bit on her plate over the course of the next several months. According to some reports "Jersey Shore" will be heading down to Miami Beach for its second season, which in a way completely negates the purpose of the show's title. Until that happens, we can expect to see the reality stars at just about every nightclub in the country (since they are paid to attend).

For Valastro, Snooki is just yet another famous client he has worked with (some others include NFL player Justin Tuck and singer Rihanna). Buddy was asked for his thoughts on "Jersey Shore" a few months ago, and he commented by saying that he wasn't offended with the show's portrayal of Italian-Americans. (However, many ethnic organizations seem to disagree with him on that.)
