"Jersey Shore" star Deena Cortese is pushing for a spot on "Dancing With the Stars". The MTV reality star started a Twitter campaign Saturday rallying her nearly 1.5 million followers to help her land a spot on the show. "I love dancing. Tweeties do you think I'd be good on dancing with the stars DWTS?? I feel like I'd kick butt lol," she tweeted.

The overwhelming response from Deena's fans was that they'd love to see her on the ABC dance competition show. One person even suggested she should, "Jersey Turnpike off the stage," referring to Deena's infamous dance club move.
With "Jersey Shore" now over, the MTV reality star would have plenty of time to pick up another reality show. Plus, she already has a leg up. As Examiner.com was first to report, Deena's been taking pole dancing lessons. "She wanted to find a creative and fun way to stay on track," her rep tells us. "It helps her feel super-sexy while burning a ton of calories."
The 2013 cast of "Dancing with the Stars "has not yet been announced. DWTS Season 16 premieres on ABC on March 18, 2013.
