MTV announced two spin-offs from Jersey Shore, according to an April 7, 2011 press release. The two new shows will feature castmembers, Snooki, Pauly D and Jenni, in their real lives, away from the shore.
Nicole 'Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni 'JWOWW' Farley, who have forged a bond on 'Jersey Shore,' will be the center of one of the shows. Always inseparable and ready to get the party started at the shore, viewers will get to see how they deal with life and love when the vacation is over in this 12-episode series. The locale may be different, but the friendship is sure to remain the same.
'DJ Pauly D' Delvecchio, with his distinctive haircuts and one liners will be folowed as he jet-sets around the country, as one of the most in-demand DJs in America. Aiming to become one of the world’s most successful and recognized names in music, viewers will get to see Pauly D chase his dream with the help of the best friends he grew up with in Rhode Island by his side.
The shows have each been greenlit for 12 episodes, to begin production later in 2011. The shows will debut on MTV in 2012.
