'Jersey Shore:' Snooki, Vinny get covered in glass

Two of the stars from MTV's "Jersey Shore" had a scary moment Saturday night when the glass ceiling collapsed at a New York party where they were celebrating the Jewish holiday of Purim.

Not too worry, though -- Snooki and Vinny seemed to make it out just fine. They still had plenty to say about the incident via Twitter.

  • Snooki: "Omg roof just collapsed at the purim event! We thought the dj was beatin the beat hardcore but nope, the roof couldn’t handle snooki and vin.”
  • Vinny: “Roof just collapsed at Purim event…. I think me and [Snooki] felt the wrath for not being Jewish.”

So there you have it -- the "Jersey Shore" cast brushing off a dangerous experience with humor and the smallest dose of arrogance. (Former "Sex and the City" star Chris Noth was at the event, but he didn't vocalize his opinion in 140 characters or less.)

It is actually surprising that these two would be celebrating a Jewish holiday; then again, these reality stars are making a living attending parties of all sorts for cash. Snooki has been booked everywhere from the Grammy Awards to a college campus over the course of the past few months. The Situation, meanwhile, attends red carpet events just to show off his abs.

As for season two of "Jersey Shore," we are still waiting to find out a location. Stay tuned, as I will have more about MTV's reality sensation as it breaks.
