'Jersey Shore:' Snooki's war with Jerry Springer lives on

Considering the nature of "Jersey Shore," you would think star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi would fit in perfectly with Jerry Springer. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. Following a recent incident in Connecticut where Snooki supposedly showed no interest in meeting the talk show tycoon, Jerry Springer took to "The Insider" Wednesday night to award the reality star the not-so-coveted "Worst Celebrity of the Day" along with her co-star, Jenni "J-Woww" Farley.

What was the reason for the dishonor? Jerry blasted the two for not being Italian, which was supposedly a staple of "Jersey Shore" to begin with. However, Access Hollywood is now reporting that Snooki is actually half-Italian and half-Chilean.

Of course, there's one other question that we really have to ask with this case: does it really matter what nationality Snooki is? The fact that she's a star of a ridiculous MTV reality show seems to be enough, and very few of the show's diehard fans will really care about the stars' nationalities so long as they continue to party hard and stir up controversy. It's also a safe bet that this recent revelation won't keep Italian-American groups from protesting the show.

Do you think Jerry Springer should find a new adversary away from Snooki? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more TV news.

That girl is one strange acting, strange looking reality "star". The 5 minutes of fame is over now let us all forget her.
