If annoying people is a criminal offense, then the entire Jersey Shore cast needs to be locked up, not just Snooki.
According to People, when the lawyer for Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi of MTV's Jersey Shore fame (remember when they just played music videos? Sigh...) showed up in court Wednesday to address charges stemming from her arrest on July 30 on New Jersey's storied boardwalk, they got a surprise.
Snooki's representative went in front of the judge expecting to talk about her charges of disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance when the judge went the court went one further and added a third charge -- annoying people on the beach. Her lawyer entered a plea of "not guilty" on all three counts.
Snooki is looking at up to $2000 in fines if convicted.
Seaside Heights prosecutor Kim Pascarella told the Associated Press that "in all honesty it's really not much of a charge."
