Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is auctioning off a handful of personal items as a way to raise money for the gulf oil spill cleanup. Specifically, the money raised through her current eBay auctions will go to the National Wildlife Federation to help animals impacted by the oil spill.
Snooki is selling this purple dress that she wore to the 2010 Grammy Awards, along with one of her infamous trucker hats, and her 1994 Honda Accord (front hood dent included). Snooki's charity eBay auctions also include a personalized video message and an autographed picture from the MTV reality star.
In an interview Friday on MSNBC the Jersey Shore star said she also plans to go to the gulf coast when production on the second season wraps. "I'm always down to party," Snooki, a vet tech student with one semester left said, "but this is a really serious matter for me. Animals have always been my passion ... and the oil spill, it's really, really affecting these animals, and I feel like nobody realizes that."
Snooki's auctions end various days over the next week.
