Five million viewers tuned in to MTV to watch Pauly D get slapped by Angelina and Ronnie slip into bed with Sammi. While viewership was down by about a quarter million from the ratings record breaking premiere, Jersey Shore Season 2 episode 2 still topped all cable and network shows for the timeslot with viewers ages 18-49.
Last night's episode called "The Hangover" was the second most watched Jersey Shore episode ever. The Jersey Shore Season 2 premiere on July 26 was not only the most watched in series history, but was also the most watched cable telecast in 2010 for viewers ages 12-34.
