Jersey Shore's The Situation signs new mobile app deal

Jersey Shore star Mike 'The Situaiton' Sorrentino has signed a new deal to release up to four mobile apps and social games, it was confirmed today (Tuesday). AppsGenius, which also has a deal with Snooki, brought Mike on board with the agreement to release up to 4 apps and/or games over the next 18 months.

Development on Mike's Jersey Shore apps will begin immediately.  Apparently ignoring the fact that he's jumping into the AppGenius pool after Snooki, Sitch said, "...I (am) very proud to introduce Jersey culture into the social gaming and mobile application industry."

AppsGenius has released two Snooki apps/games so far - both have done very well. The first Snookify Me is for iPhone and Android, the second is a free download Facebook game. "Snooki's Matching Game" was just released this month.

No word yet on when Mike's first AppsGenius app or social game will drop.
