You know spring is almost here when the news is out that the Jersey Shore Restaurant Week (JSRW) will be here soon. The 10th annual JSRW is scheduled for April 4-13 with nearly 70 restaurants participating. Enjoy a three-course meal with your choice of an appetizer, entree and dessert for either lunch at $20.14 or dinner at $30.14 exclusive of beverage, tax and gratuity.
Some of the special events planned for the week include:
Thursday, April 3 - First Bites: Kick-Off to Jersey Shore Restaurant Week - Five top Jersey Shore Chefs create an extravagant five-course small plate tasting menu paired with wines followed by strolling dessert carts featuring cheese, pastries, chocolate and port. The Mill, Spring Lake Heights.
Saturday, April 5 - “The Great Jersey Shore Burger Contest” returns. Top Jersey Shore restaurants will compete for the title of “Best Burger at the Shore”. Awards were be determined by a panel of judges and the People’s Choice Award. Bar A, Lake Como
Monday, April 7 - Eat, Drink, Indulge: Mastering the Art of Wine Blending - Enjoy a unique and interactive evening where you become the winemaker for the night. Taste four different wines from Lyeth Estates; learn what differentiates them from one another and, based on your own tastes, create your own perfect blend. Squan Tavern, Manasquan where you will be served one of the best pizzas at the Jersey Shore.
Saturday, April 12 - Burgers, Bloodies and Brews is one of JSRW’s most popular events. Something new this time is an event with beer tasting flights. Harpoon Willy’s, Manasquan
