Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D will join Britney Spears' Femme Fatale tour beginning next month, Examiner.com can confirm today (Thursday). The MTV reality star and deejay is listed as the opening act for Britney Spears on at least four tour stops. Pauly's first appearance on the Femme Fatale tour will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 17. Pauly will also join Britney Spears:
- August 19 in Pittsburgh, PA - CONSOL Energy Center
- August 20 in Columbus, OH - Nationwide Arena
- August 22 in Indianapolis, IN - Conseco Fieldhouse
So far, no opener is confirmed for the last two tour stops (August 24 in Raleigh, NC and August 25 in Charlotte, NC) on the North American leg of Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour.
It has been whispered that Pauly D might join the Britney Spears tour after Jersey Shore Season 5 wraps, but until now nothing has been confirmed. When Pauly joins Britney on the road it will be the second time the two have paired up. The MTV reality star and celebrity DJ opened for Britney Spears in March when she performed two surprise concerts in Las Vegas. The performances were filmed by MTV for a television special that aired several days later.
Britney Spears is currently touring with Nicki Minaj as her opening act.
