Jersey Shore, PA retracts filming invitation to MTV, Snooki and JWoWW

Looks like Snooki and JWoWW's Jersey Shore spinoff isn't even welcome in Jersey Shore, PA. Despite an invitation to film there, earlier this week, from the Central Pennsylvania Film Offices borough officials are now having second thoughts.
In a statement to the LA Times on Friday, Jersey Shore borough officials said they don't want the lense of MTV cameras on their small rural town.  The statement goes on to read MTV's hit reality show Jersey Shore and JWoWW and Snooki "(do) not refelect the values of the town" and they are not welcome there.  Film Commissioner Lorena Beniquez who first invited the Jersey Shore girls and the MTV crew of film the spinoff there  said she is 'saddeneded by the development.'

Beniquez originally invited Snooki and JWoWW to film in Jersey Shore, PA on Wednesday - after Hoboken, NJ denied a filming permit there saying the production would cause too much of an inconvenience and nuisance to the lives of residents.

Jersey Shore Season 5 airs Thursdays at 10pm on MTV.
