'Jersey Shore' news roundup: Super Bowl (and wedding?) parties abound

Are there any people on reality TV right now as popular as the "Jersey Shore" gang? I'd sure be hard-pressed to think of any. Just in the past 24 hours along we've had a number of headlines involving the group.

  • Super Bowl: the gang is all on their way down to Miami to take part in a number of festivities. For many, this includes nightclub appearances and other promotions. The Situation, meanwhile, is actually taking part in a commercial with NFL MVP Peyton Manning (who is in just about every commercial known to man already).
  • Snooki has already apologized on her Facebook for flipping off the entire city of Philadelphia. She was booed upon making a promotional appearance at the Wing Bowl, and things quickly got out of hand.
  • This is probably my personal favorite of the day. Radar Online reports that Pauly D was actually offered $50,000 to walk someone down the aisle. The catch? It was someone he'd never even met. Wanting to be professional about the whole thing and not take every odd job offered his way, the DJ turned it down.

Are you surprised that these guys have so much going on? Let me know your thoughts with a comment below.
