The MTV reality television series, Jersey Shore, may be moving to a warmer climate for its second season. However, some businesses aren't up for the kind of attention that the controversial show may bring with it. For its second season, all eight original cast members will be returning, including Rhode Island's Pauly D, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Jenni "J-Woww" Farley and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.

Where the show will move has not been announced yet but MTV has stated that it would move Jersey Shore to a warm city this spring to escape the cool Jersey weather. The cast that happily dub themselves, "guidos'' and ``guidettes" will certainly boost the economy where ever they go due to their popularity, but there may be some businesses that frown upon the group that is all about the party life.

Businesses who want more upscale clients to visit their establishments may not welcome the show's wild antics in their city. The Mynt Lounge in the South Beach section of Miami turned down an MTV scout's inquiry mainly because of the way the women on the show are treated as well as how Italian Americans are portrayed.

Still, there will be many establishments that will welcome the increase in business that typically accompanies a hit show such as Jersey Shore. When the show debuted in December 2009, about 1 million viewers tuned in. By the end of the first season in January, 5 million tuned in, making it one of MTV’s highest-rated shows ever.

Right now, it's looking like MTV is trying to bring Jersey Shore to Miami for its second season. Rhode Island's Pauly D may have to be further away from the creator of his unique hair style, North Providence barber, Anthony Gianfrancesco. However, with a newly contracted $10,000 an episode for the second season, he can afford to have his barber flown to wherever the show ends up.
