Now that “Jersey Shore” is over Deena Cortese is looking for her next project. According to Celebuzz on Jan. 31, Cortese is currently on a mission to join the newest season of “Dancing With the Stars.” Cortese is ready to fly down the Jersey Turnpike and hit the ballroom dance floor.
Deena told Celebuzz that it would be a dream come true for her due to her long time love of dancing. Cortese has been involved in dance since she was a tiny guidette stating that it goes past her love of Jersey-style dancing and fist pumping. Dancing is what Deena does to keep her weight in check and keep her mind of things; it’s also a great stress reliever.
Reports indicate that agents for Cortese have been in contact with the show, “I know that one of my agencies actually spoke to them, so hopefully I get a spot.”
To date, the only “Jersey Shore” castmate to take a spin on the dance floor was Mike “The Situation” Sorrenino. He lasted four weeks in season eleven.
