Yet another one of MTV's reality shows has become a big hit. Last weekend after salary negotiations were finally settled, the 'Jersey Shore' cast signed on for a second season. It's to be determined if they will be returning to Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It has been reported the cast may be relocated to another beachfront location: Miami, Florida.
With filming set to begin during the summer, the newly-famous stars have quite a bit of time on their hands. So what have they been up to since the the filming of their show has ceased? Let's take a look:
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is looking to trademark his nickname. Tank-tops, bathing suits, and workout attire could soon be found branded with "The Situation" on them. He managed to get several people to buy similar products at the New Jersey boardwalk store he worked at. Would you wear trackpants to the gym emblazoned with his nickname?
Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley has launched her own website. On the site, she provides links to all of her social media sites, markets her new clothing line, and promotes HCG drops for weightloss. She hopes to travel to Vegas for the second season of the show.
Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio has made numerous appearance across the country and on several television shows. He has a website as well, complete with a blog, photo gallery, and an online store to purchase autographed posters. If you've been searching high and low for a GTL t-shirt, you can buy those here! His page on Facebook has over 400,000 fans. Pauly D headed to Miami this weekend for Super Bowl XLIV, courtesy of Reebok.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi also has done her share of appearances, including the Grammy Awards last month. Her most recent event was Wing Bowl 2010 in Philadelphia, where she did not receive as warm a welcome as she would have hoped. Here's what she thought of Philly:
One thing is for sure: this show (regardless of where it is filmed) won't be disappearing from MTV anytime soon.
