Nostalgia seems to be the main ingredient of this year’s most buzz worthy Super Bowl advertisements.
Just one day after Honda released an ad featuring Matthew Broderick portraying Ferris Bueller, Acura (owned by Honda) has released a spot starring Jerry Seinfeld.
Acura’s ad for their all-new NSX features Seinfeld and one of his show’s most memorable guest characters: The Soup Nazi.
The ad centers on Seinfeld, who is willing to do anything to be first in line for Acura’s new sports car.
Another NBC alumnus makes a surprise appearance at the end of the commercial as well.
Clocking at 1:52, the ad is quite long, but is worth the watch for Seinfeld fans. The spot will likely be cut down to either a 30 or 60 second cut when it airs on Super Bowl Sunday.
What do you think of the ad? Does Seinfeld still resonate with viewers?
