Earlier this week comic legend Jerry Lewis was asked by Inside Edition to comment on the recent woes of Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. Lewis' response was one of "tough love" to say the least.
When asked by Inside Edition about the Lohan situation, Lewis responded by saying, "I would smack her in the mouth if I saw her… I would say, 'You deserve this and nothing else – whack!' And then if she's not satisfied, I'd put her over my knee and spank her."
The award-winning star stated that he felt the same way about Paris Hilton who was recently busted for cocaine possession in Las Vegas.
Lewis went on to say that Lohan along with Hilton are "begging for help." In order for these troubled stars to be helped, Lewis claimed that they are in need of much more than fan admiration. He argued that these young stars are in desperate need of the love of their parents.
Aside from Lohan and HIlton, the humanitarian Lewis stated that all stars who give nothing back to society deserve a "spanking and a reprimand."

Comments
Unfortunately Jerry Lewis is right but his remarks will be attributed to to an unsympathetic, aging geezer by today's media.
