Jeremy Irons gay remarks: Gay marriage and the break down of families

Jeremy Irons gay remarks is causing quite a stir. According to an April 5 report by the Christian Post, Jeremy Irons has concerns about same-sex marriage and what it cold do to families.

The Oscar winning actor said he doesn't have a very strong opinion about gay marriage, but he can see how it could cause problems. Those problems include the break down of the family. It appears that Jeremy Irons gay remarks leads people to believe he sees same-sex marriage as a slippery slope.

“Could a father not marry his son?” Jeremy Irons asked.

This question by Jeremy Irons appeared to point out that those who support gay marriage says that marriage should be accepted, if it involves two of-age consenting adults and doesn't interfere with another person's rights and freedoms.

Despite Jeremy Irons gay remarks, the Oscar winner went on to say he wants “everybody who's living with one other person the best of luck in the world.” He said that “it's lovely to have someone to love.”
