'Supernatural's' own Jensen Ackles was voted number five in Best of 2012: TVGuide.com users Favorite Actors.

Ackles' character, Dean Winchester, hit the right notes with viewers last year after the writers amped up the angst and emotion in his story line, proving Ackles acting chops should not be underestimated.
Longtime fans of the series should not be surprised that he made the top ten. Ackles has consistently delivered top-notch performances throughout the series - with just the right mix of humor, heart, and action. A few of the following fan favorites are a showcase to Ackles ability: S2E1 "In My Time of Dying", S3E8 "A Very Supernatural Christmas", S3E16 "No Rest for the Wicked" and S4E16 "On the Head of a Pin."
Season 8 has brought many new and interesting challenges to the Winchesters. New characters and the return of old, familiar, yet still relevant, villains have revitalized the series. Dean's back from Purgatory and chomping at the bit to fight evil. It's clear that Ackles will have plenty of material to play with in order to remain in the top 10 in 2013.
