Awards season is now in full swing with this morning's announcement of the Oscar nominations, and tonight Supernatural fans had their share of eye candy at the Critics' Choice Awards. Just in from Vancouver where CW’s hit show Supernatural is filmed, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki lit up the red carpet and the stage when they presented the award for Best Animated Feature to the film Frozen. Host Aisha Tyler introduced them with a mention of wanting their “clothes off only for the artistic integrity of her film,” our boys walked out in classy black tuxes, much to the delight of Supernatural fans worldwide. Out of character for Jensen and Jared they seemed a bit too serious when they made their presentation of the award. Yet again, the two over six foot tall studs commanded the stage.

Stunning in a long bright blue dress, Danneel Ackles was at her husband’s side as they arrived on the red carpet. Obviously missing was Jared’s wife, Genevieve Padalecki, who was no doubt at home with their brand new baby son. Just born on Dec 22, Jared has kept his avid fans waiting since then to disclose the name of baby number two. Going strong in its ninth season, Supernatural returned after a long hiatus this past Tuesday to ratings better than they’ve seen in years. With rumors of an early renewal announcement in the works, fans have a lot to look forward to.
