Jenny McCarthy is speaking out and says that rumors she gave her cousin Melissa a hard time about her weight are not true at all. On Saturday, People shared what she had to say about it. This host of "The View" is leaving the show and now the controversy is starting.

Jenny was upset and spoke out to People about it. She said, "There is a crazy story going around that I once told my cousin, Melissa, that she would have to lose weight in order to get into show business. Nothing could be further from the truth." She doesn't want this rumor out there at all.

She went on to talk about it even more saying, "When she was starting out, I was fortunate enough to be in a position to get her a job on a show I was doing, to learn the ropes and get some experience on a TV set in front of the camera and behind the scenes. She has accomplished everything she has accomplished through hard work and her extraordinary talent, and I've only ever encouraged and supported and wished her the very best."

Jenny also doesn't want anything to think that Melissa is banned from her wedding to Donnie Whalberg. This isn't true at all. They are just having a small wedding. It will be a very intimate ceremony and not many people are invited. She did imply that Melissa wasn't invited, but that was only because they are not having a huge event at all. It will just be small and should be a gorgeous wedding.

McCarthy is hurt that people make up stories about her. Sadly it is part of the business, but not something that she likes to deal with at all.
