Jenny McCarthy is jumping into the late night TV arena with a new talk show “The Jenny McCarthy Show.”
“SPLASH” magazine interviewed the former “Playboy” cover girl in the comfort of her own home. Actually she was very comfortable… in her bathtub. Excited about her upcoming new show McCarthy told the magazine, “I can’t fake anything. Here’s me, here’s all of me. I am smart, I am dumb, I am secure, I am insecure. I’m all of those things, and hopefully people will see that.”
Per McCarthy, her show was inspired by Hugh Hefner’s “Playboy After Dark” which ran from 1960 to 1970 and featured celebrities partying and drinking in a penthouse suite setting. She wants her audience to feel like they’re at a party rather than a talk show.
McCarthy no longer lives in tinseltown. She left Los Angeles and moved to Chicago with her 10-year-old son, Evan, in July.
“The Jenny McCarthy Show” premieres on Friday, February 8, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.
