Last year at the stroke of Midnight, Jenny McCarthy was co-hosting Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve and needed someone to kiss, so she grabbed a police officer standing by on duty and locked lips with him.

The kiss was the talk of the night and this year Jenny promised that she would make sure she had someone to smooch at Midnight as well.
So she took to Twitter and asked fans to help her decide just who she would kiss at Midnight for 2013.
Followers were able to tweet the star and choose between a military man, a New York fire man, or a plain average guy.
Jenny told Yahoo;
"I don't know who I'm going to smooch with, but I'm going to smooch with somebody!"
Jenny has hosted the show with Ryan Seacrest and Fergie for three years now and will be back next year as well.
This is the first time the show will be without the legendary icon, Dck Clark, who passed away this past April.
They paid a tribute to him tonight on the broadcast.
At the stroke of Midnight, Jenny found her New Year's Eve kiss and grabbed the nearest military guy and had a makeout session with him for all of the world to see.
Jenny later asked the surprised but happy military man his name, and whether he was single or not.
Benjamin was his name and he said, yes, he was single, Jenny responded;
“I think I’m in love,”
Ben gave her a 10 for the kiss but Jenny said it was more of an 11!
